SSC applications
Use 10KB only if it is inside the size range stated for the active SSC examination. Current SSC workflows may handle the photograph separately, including live capture, so read each upload field carefully.
Your signature image may be too large, too small, blurry, or in the wrong format for an SSC or other online application.
Use UploadReady.in to select a 10KB target, add notice-specific pixel dimensions when required, and inspect the downloaded signature before uploading.
Prepare a clear signature image toward a 10KB target for SSC, recruitment, admission, scholarship, and government-form uploads. A 10KB file is not a universal SSC requirement: always follow the active notice if it specifies a size range, format, or dimensions.

WORKING TOOL
Files are processed automatically and removed from server storage after the configured one-hour retention period. Always preview official documents before submission.
Use this table as a preparation checklist. The active notification and portal instructions take priority.
| File type | Recommended format | Target file size | Typical dimensions or pixels | Background or quality guidance | Important upload checks |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Scanned signature | JPG/JPEG is commonly requested; verify the form | 10KB target only when it fits the stated range | Depends on the specific notification | Dark natural signature on clean white paper; crop excess margins | Check size range, pixels, format, orientation, and every pen stroke |
| Signature photographed on mobile | Convert to the format accepted by the portal | Depends on the specific notification | Use the portal's stated width and height | Use even light; avoid shadows, glare, blur, and tilted paper | Open at 100% zoom and confirm the image is not stretched |
| SSC application signature | Follow the active SSC notice and portal field | Do not assume 10KB is valid for every SSC examination | Notice-specific; do not reuse dimensions from an old notice | Use a clear running signature with no clipped edges | Confirm the active examination, notice date, and on-screen preview |
Exact compression depends on the original file. Scanned documents usually compress differently from text PDFs. If the result is blurry or still too large, try a higher target, rescan around 150 DPI, or split a multi-page PDF.
Select the 10KB target, crop unnecessary white space, and process the original again. Confirm that 10KB is within the portal's accepted range.
Start again from the original scan. Do not repeatedly compress an already compressed image; choose a larger valid size when the notice permits it.
Leave a small white margin around the complete signature and make sure the first and last strokes are visible.
Export as the format stated by the form. JPG/JPEG is common, but the current portal instruction is the final source.
Enter the exact width and height from the active notification. File size and pixel dimensions are separate checks.
Check the extension, actual file format, size range, dimensions, colour mode, and whether the image opens normally on your device.
Keep the original aspect ratio unless the portal gives exact dimensions. Retake or recrop the source instead of forcing a badly shaped image.
Use a short name such as signature.jpg. Avoid spaces, brackets, symbols, and multiple dots when the portal rejects the filename.
Retake the image in even light on clean white paper and avoid using heavy filters that damage the pen strokes.
Use clear filenames such as photo.jpg and signature.jpg, then recheck the field label before submission.
Use 10KB only if it is inside the size range stated for the active SSC examination. Current SSC workflows may handle the photograph separately, including live capture, so read each upload field carefully.
IBPS, SBI, and other banking notices may specify their own signature size and pixel dimensions. Use the dedicated banking upload pack when preparing photo, signature, thumb impression, and declaration files together.
State commissions and departments do not use one shared standard. Copy the size, format, and dimensions from the current recruitment notice before processing.
Admission portals may ask for a signature image but use a different maximum size. Preserve a readable original and select the target shown by the institution.
Check whether the portal wants a signature, declaration, or scanned document. Upload each asset only in its matching field.
Identity-service workflows can use provider-specific photo and signature rules. Do not reuse SSC settings unless the relevant service explicitly gives the same values.
This workflow uploads the selected file to the processing service. Files are handled automatically and removed from processing storage after the configured one-hour retention period. Use a service appropriate for the sensitivity of the document and keep the original file.
Check the active SSC instructions, crop a clear signature image, select the 10KB target, add required pixel dimensions, and verify the downloaded file before upload.
No. SSC requirements can differ by examination and application cycle. Use 10KB only when it fits the active notice and portal instructions.
No. The tool can help with measurable properties such as file size and dimensions, but the portal may apply additional checks.
Use the format shown in the current application instructions. JPG or JPEG is common for signature uploads, but it is not universal.
There is no universal pixel size for every form. Enter dimensions only from the active notice or portal field.
The source may be small, shadowed, or contain too much blank paper. Start with a sharper image and crop around the signature before compression.
Yes. Use a modern mobile browser, choose the image from your phone, process it, and inspect the result before downloading.
Use the ink colour required by the notice. If no colour is specified, choose a dark signature on clean white paper and verify the preview.
The format, dimensions, aspect ratio, filename, or image content may not match the portal's checks. Review every requirement, not only file size.
Server-processed files are removed from processing storage after the configured one-hour retention period. Review the File Handling page for details.
